Barbara Dillon Hillas just finished managing a 3-year World Bank Institutional Development Fund (IDF) Grant – Grant TF 53102-CZ, Testing a Regional Approach to Building Justice Sector Management Capacity in ECA* Countries, given to the CEELI Institute in Prague designed to support training and development of a strategy for regional coordination and networking in court administration in ECA countries. The purpose of the Grant was to pilot a regional approach to reinforcing the technical capacity of justice sector managers for policy analysis.
A central aim of the project Grant was to equip the participating countries with the habits and methods of exchanging information within the ECA region. Part of the training sessions were devoted to the goal of designing a communication system which would include the creation of an international association of justice sector managers.
